Hymn Festival preparations

Playing from the hymn book for the first time at a festival can be a daunting task! Victoria was practicing her finger pedaling and taking "breaths" at the end of her phrases while remembering to express and support her melodic line! (Whew!...so much to consider and practice.) She did continue to perfect these techniques and worked on cleaning up her pedaling before playing at the festival and received a Superior rating.
