We look forward to traveling to North Carolina at the beginning of every year to attend the Wild's Music Conference. It is a week filled with attending master classes and workshops with the added treat of sacred concerts, skits, and PREACHING! This year I attended vocal technique classes and observed private voice lessons. In piano, I attended classes on the art of accompanying and how to create unique and musically expressive piano accompaniments. Although every class was excellent, we enjoyed meeting and speaking with all the gifted musicians that travel from all over to attend and perform at the Wild's Music Conference. If you get the chance, check out FayeLopez.com and Greghowlett.com. Greg Howlett has a dvd course on Improvisation that I am working through first before making it available to students. I have learned so much in just the first dvd and I think you will enjoy it also! He has free lessons on his website and a video of how he recorded his last two piano cds. We are looking into possibly having him speak to our studio and perform a concert for us. Let me know what you think of his music!
