We have a secret judge in the audience for every recital or public performance listening to select the best performance of the evening. The Christmas recital at the Galleria Mall was a tough recital to adjudicate! Honorable Mention certificates/ribbons will be awarded to Christine on the french horn, Alayna on the violin, and Kristen and Kyria on the piano but........(drum roll, please!) the winner for the Performance Award for the 2009 Christmas recital is Marissa! We were so proud of all the students and felt they had one of their best public performances ever! Many people stopped us as we were cleaning up to tell us how much they enjoyed the concert! Thank you parents and students for working so hard to perfect your pieces and to glorify the Lord with your talent.
The Performance Award is a trophy that the student keeps until the next club performance and then it is passed on to the next winner. Students will receive recognition with a certificate and medal for receiving this award.
