Mountain View Jr. Music Club students kept busy during the month of December. They performed and ministered in church services, sunday school classes, hospitals, nursing homes, christmas cantatas, the Ronald McDonald House and in school chapel services. Many thanks to the parents who sacrificed their time to make sure their children participated in these ministering opportunities. We have wonderful parents and students, and we love you all dearly. Your children "make our day" every week as we have the opportunity to watch them grow spiritually and musically. We are the most encouraged when we see them willing to use their gifts and talents to serve the Lord as He gives them the opportunity.
Mallory,Morgan, and Debra were even featured in a short clip on channel 42 news when they played for the Christmas party at the Ronald McDonald House. You can find the blog clip about this event at al.com under the Ronald McDonald House.
This semester the student's will be participating in BMTA piano, duet, and vocal festivals and ACEA state competition. May the students work hard this semester to practice and prepare their hearts and music "as unto the Lord and not unto men."
