This year we only had one MVJC participant in our ACEA elementary competition. Garron placed first in male vocal solo and second in brass solo. Congratulations!

- Thad and Cheri Endicott founded the MVJMC as part of their ministry as the youth and music leaders of their church. Cheri has taught music for 19 years (Alabama and Oklahoma),and Thad has taught/directed music for 14 years. They have both served as choral directors in a small Christian school and in their local church. Thad has directed 4th-12th grade band for 14 years and started an orchestra and string ensemble for his church. Together they provide private music lessons in the areas of piano,voice,flute, trumpet,and saxophone. This music club places emphasis on serving God and others with your gifts and talents, and developing a well-rounded musical education. MVJMC provides experience and instruction in music theory, composition, accompanying, performance, hymn playing, music history and appreciation. God has blessed this club with students who have gone on to further their musical education, and are presently teaching their own students. Two students have produced their own musical cds and many others have received college scholarships and traveled in select college ensembles.
Our Philosophy...
is to equip students with a knowledge of music and musical terms, while developing their God-given musical abilities, and to encourage students to use their talents for God's glory in His service. It is our desire that each student strive to give their best to God as they seek to minister to others and serve in their local church.
