The Alabama Federation of Music Clubs held their Senior Convention in the Trussville area April 29-30th. Mountain View Baptist Church hosted the A.F.M.C. concert on Friday evening. All AFMC award recipients for 2010-1011 were featured in the concert. Marissa was the AFMC female vocal solo recipient of the Marilyn Cash Award. In the AFMC concert she performed "Everywhere I look" accompanied by Nicholas Robertson. Mr. Robertson is the student of Nancy Winguard and member of Birmingham Southern's Prepatory School of Music. Mr. Robertson participated in the January AFMC auditions in piano solo.
