Student of the Week

Every year we recognize students who are striving to improve their musicianship skills and Christian character through diligent and focused practicing. If you are a parent of a busy child or have many children trying to practice, then you know what a tremendous accomplishment this is!

We have various practice requirements, according to the student's level, that have to be met in order to qualify for the title "Student of the Week." The student with the highest score in their group each week receives the title "Student of the Week." There may be weeks in which we may not have any students who qualify to become "Student of the Week." When a student receives this award five times, they are awarded their choice of a $5.00 gift certificate to Chick-fil-A or $5.00 cash award. This year we have combined our piano and instrumental students to form three groups.

Group I
(minimum practice required- 2 hours, no practice log but a parent signature needed to verify practice time has been met.)
Students in Group 1: Alayna E., Ashlyn E., Emma W., Josh B., Mary H., Natalie J., and Vanessa K.

Group II

(minimum practice required- 3 hours, short practice log for each day they practiced, parent signature.)
